CUSTOMIZABLE YOUTH WOOD BAT:

We're now offering a youth version of our OZZ1 bat, it features all the same tapers and style, but is shaped for young hitters.  It features a large barrel and a mild taper in the handle.  In birch it comes in -8 and in maple -5.  

We recommend that you order the same length that your little slugger would use with a metal baseball bat.

Species

Birch acts as a hybrid species that offers the flex of Ash and the hardness of Maple. It hardens with use and is known for its longevity.

Maple is rock hard and offers little to no flex on contact. Larger model bats and big weight drops are not recommended due to the likeliness of breaking.

A cup is a hollowed out section at the very end of the barrel that removes weight and helps distribute more balance throughout the bat without sacrificing the overall strength.
